Description
Windup is a 12-year-old American Warmblood gelding, 16hh, currently showing Prix St Georges with scores in the upper 60s.
He is a true FEI schoolmaster: confirmed in the flying changes, pirouettes, and half-passes, and generous about teaching them. His gaits are balanced and eminently rideable, with movement that comes from correct balance rather than force. He stays open through the frame in his work — the mark of correct, diligent, classical training.
Windup is a kind horse who genuinely loves his job. He is at his best with a soft, tactful rider who values lightness and asks with finesse rather than strength. For the right partner, he is the horse who will teach you to ride correctly at the FEI level.
Serious inquiries welcome.
